1993 Mercyhurst Alumni/Ambassador Club

The first Mercyhurst Ambassador Club started in 1993 under the direction of Michael Furhman`85.  Michael had discussed the idea with Dr. Garvey and Dr. Andrew Roth in 1993, in which they decided to form a more structured select group of students to represent Mercyhurst College in many ways.  One of the primary reasons for starting the club was to give tours of the campus to prospective students and families. Also, the ambassadors were to help with any type of special events around the campus.  The Ambassador Club has grown extensively since it's inception, boasting a group size of over 70 students for the 2004-2005 club.
