This Year's Honoree: Dr. Nancy Rauch Douzinas

Join this capstone event of our 50th Anniversary on April 9 from 6:30pm at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers, New York City. All gala proceeds fund scholarships for deserving Stony Brook students. This year's honoree is Dr. Nancy Rauch Douzinas, a Stony Brook Foundation Trustee and President of the Rauch Foundation, which seeks to be a catalyst for systemic change for the benefit of Long Island's disadvantaged children and families, its environment and the development of civic and non-profit leadership. Former SB Math Chair and Wife Make $60 Million Gift to University
Dr. Jim Simons, prominent financier and mathematician and his wife Marilyn, who holds aPhD in economics from Stony Brook, have donated the largest gift in Stony Brook's and SUNY's history. The gift will be used to construct and endow the "Simons Center for Geometry and Physics."
